Repair Terms & Conditions
Brand Names: “URBOCARE” & “URBOCARE.COM” are owned and operated by NanoTricks
- Local Service/ Taxes: Additional charges may apply for local service and GST taxes.
- Repair Duration: If your gadget is collected for repair, the expected repair time is 2-3 business days. However, delays may occur based on parts approval and/or procurement.
- Communication Channels:
- For quick contacts and responses, email your “INVOICE ID” to urbocare@gmail.com
- Track your gadget repair status online at www.urbocare.com by entering your request ID for real-time updates.
- Part Replacement:
- If a part replacement is required, the part cost will be an additional charge.
- Our repair team will contact you exclusively to obtain your approval before proceeding with any part replacements.
- Diagnosis Process:
- For gadgets with issues like NO POWER / NO DISPLAY / complete non-functionality, an exact diagnosis and a list of faulty parts will be provided after a thorough check-up.
- We may contact you multiple times for revised approval of additional parts based on a decision tree approach to repair.
- Warranty:
- Repair/workmanship warranty stands for 1 month, provided the gadget is not tampered with post our last repair.
- Replaced parts warranty is separate, as per the warranty on each part.
- Physical Damage:
- For physically damaged gadgets or those with identified hardware damages, any intermittently working part may potentially stop functioning during the diagnosis and resolution process.
- URBOCARE will not be liable for returning the gadget in the exact (pre-received) partial working condition if the customer denies further repair and resolution by the Urbocare technical team.
- Charges:
- Urbocare charges Rs 200 as our basic visiting charge if the customer declines our service or denies us to pick up the equipment.
- No refund is entertained if the customer denies additional repair charges after the complete service charge has been paid.
- Unavailability of Parts or Repair:
- In case the customer has provided approval, and we are unable to source the part or not able to repair, we return the gadget with a minimum Rs 200 deducted from the total as basic workmanship charges.
- Data Recovery:
- Urbocare does not guarantee 100% data recovery.
- Data Backup is a separate paid service. For small data volumes (< 4GB), free backup is available during certain repair processes.
- Software and Licenses:
- The customer fully indemnifies Urbocare for software/licenses validity/originality on their equipment.
- Urbocare does not participate or promote any form of piracy.
- Original Licenses:
- Urbocare advises all its customers to retain original licenses for pre-installed application software on the gadget/device. Urbocare is not responsible for any loss of installed application software during the repair process.
- Per Gadget Definition:
- “Per gadget” refers to each/specific Mobiles, Smartphones, Tablets, iPhone, Blackberry & devices as defined in the final invoice.
- Hardware Replacement:
- Hardware replacement rights are solely and exclusively held by Urbocare to install new or refurbished parts.
- Parts warranty is provided by the part manufacturer.
- Pirated Software:
- Urbocare is not liable for any instance of pre-installed pirated software.
- Service Plan Inclusions:
- Hardware replacement is not included in the service plan.
- Service Period:
- The start date/end date mentioned in the invoice defines the customer service period.
- Repair Venue:
- All hardware repairs will be carried out in our local Technical Repair Centre.
- Loss or Theft:
- In case of loss or theft, Urbocare will not be responsible for any data-related issues. However, Urbocare may provide a similar device or its cost equivalent, with the final decision being of Urbocare
- Invoice Information:
- Ensure the Request ID/Invoice ID is mentioned when collecting the invoice.
